Since the XIX century the Scots have been proud not only of their clan tartans and whisky, but also of their tea plantations situated thousand miles away from their Motherland and of the tea, grown there. Ceylon tea was their special pride. For it was James Taylor, a Scotsman, who founded tea industry in Ceylon in the middle of the XIX century. The tea used for producing Pride of Scotland tea bags is grown on the western mountain slopes of Dimbula province at the altitude of 1800 meters above sea level, in the district of the first plantations of James Taylor, the forefather of Ceylon tea industry.

The tea gives an amber coloured brew, possessing a bright bouquet and invigorating aroma. Makes an ideal cup for breakfast. Recommended with the addition of milk.
